So this has happened to us several times, no matter what time we call i usually have to call at least 3 times to get anyone to answer them, i am promptly on hold. Today, it was completely ridiculous. I just finished work and my fiancee and I were wanting to grab a quick bite of to go food to take home. Again, three calls before someone answered i asked to place the order and was told nothing but..."can you just hold on," I said sure, we were driving from my work which is about 15 minutes away. The entire time I was on hold i could hear one lady that seemed to be trying to get other employees to do their job, instead they were laughing and giggling...13:12, that's how long I was hold, I was still in on when we got to the waffle house, there were 4 seated customers in the entire place. No-one ever took my order on the phone or picked it back up, there was no manager to speak to and if there had been anything else in the area open (10:15p.m.)We would have gone some where else, but its a small town and we needed to eat. I just find it frustrating that it seems to be a pattern when trying to place a take out order and the service is ridiculously bad. The server that took our to go order sounded like the lady trying to get other employees to actually do things like dishes and other duties but they didn't seem to care at all about anything except laughing and making the older lady work twice as hard. The cook and older server were very nice and did a good job. The rest of this establishment needs to be fired I have been placed on hold, ignored, and even hung up on trying to order food, not to mention again all the times they simply do not answer. The management needs to get it together and hire people who want to work instead of hiring jerks who draw a pay check for being lazy while two employees do all the work and get no credit. Service this bad should require retraining, if everyone to include management so that they get a clue as to how to run a business and how to achieve even the most marginal goals in customer services

The cooks need to focus on their job and not spend half the shift outside. Listening to music in your ear while taking orders from a waitress is unacceptable. My order was cooked wrong because of his distraction. June is a treasure . Please don't work her to death. She needs support from others. She cares about her job and made me feel very welcomed. Hold the others accountable for their jobs. I will come back because of June. I am sure many others would agree about my assessment. The first shift cook from Wisconsin is very cool also. Please help your good employees.
The grave yard crew rock they are amazing .great workers . June is awesome give her a paid vacation and a raise .She is a talent worth the drive for June June June .
Nasty food. 2 eggs, grits, tomatoes and toast $10! The server was sweet, but I'm not looking for a girlfriend.
They use margarine instead of butter and no Turkey sausage or Turkey bacon.
It was late and we came in a big group. 2 employees working and they did a great job taking care of us. The manager came back in to help our large party. Food was great
